TNT IS INTHE NEWS
Thanks to various members, TNT will present $300 to Jay Bird at Dixie Run.
Over the years at Dixie Run, Jay has 'championed' all the 'kids events' and has
provided some type of recongition for thier participation.
This year with a very large turnout expected, TNT thought Jay could use a little help.
If you every met Jay at a SFWDA event, he was the guy handing you an ice cream.
Once again, thanks, our small contribution will be greatly appreicated and our efforts
will be acknowledged at Dixie Run.

September 23 - 25 - SWFDA's 30th Dixie Run at Golden Mountain (Sparta TN)
Southern Four Wheel Drive Association 's 'premiere' event . Lots of activities
planned this year with guided trails inside the Golden Mountain Park and
'out of park' excursions to some local vistas, Rock Race, and a huge raffle.
Trail rating = any vehicle, depending on which classification of trail rides you choose.
If you plan on going, then register at the SFWDA website (http://www.sfwda.org/dixierun).
Base camp will be at the Red Roof Inn in Cookeville TN (exit 287 off of I-40)
which is only 10 miles from the event. Red Roof inn phone number 931-528-2020
We have a group leaving the Travelers Rest Walmart around 10:00a.m.
October 15 - Carolina Driveline's "Piedmont Perfect" Truck and Car Show
Carolina Driveline is sponsoring a Truck and Car Show at the Spartanburg Fairgrounds.
Carolina Driveline is also looking for help to provide free rides to kids
on their man-made mountain at the Fairgrounds. Details to following at the next meeting.
October 22- Road trip through the north Georgia mountains
A leisurely ride both on-road and off-road starting from Seneca through the north Georgia
mountians toTrey Mountian near Helen GA out Patterson's Gap to Dillard GA and back
to Senca via Warwomen road at Clayton GA.
Trail rating = any vehicle
