August's Meeting
CLUB LOGO UPDATE
Last meeting we voted in a new club logo.
We are asking for inquires for another 'mass buy' of T-shirts
During the August we started collecting order for T-shirts. If you
did not make the August meeting and wish to order T-shirts please advise by
the 14th of August. We also discussed the cost of the T-shirts.
A 'flat' $10 was decided. That will be enough for Michael to break even
and the club to make a few bucks. $10 for a 'TNT' T-shirt - such a deal.

for delivery in middle September (ready for Dixie Run)
Next Ride
· August 22- Durhamtown-Tellico in Murphy NC
Following an early departure from the Lowes in Seneca at 7:30a.m
then off Murphy NC and trail riding at Durhamtown-Tellico.
Trail Rating = slightly above stock, there are a few rocks we will negotiating
and we may be 2 hours from help out in the woods
Plan on a long day, it is 2.5 hrs from Seneca - one way
· September 5 - Marty Jones' Great Nephew 1st birthday bash
Marty has 11 acres and needs a little help on his trail system.
Festivities start around 3:00p.m. Bring a side dish, drinks and chairs

The following is a rough idea on how to get there:
North on I-85 and left at exit 66 toward Hwy 29 south (Wellford)
take a right "to 292" and left onto 292.. Up 292 for a little over a mile
and left onto Waspnest then around 1.3 miles to 671 Waspnest
down the 1/4 mile driveway and your are there.
· September 24 - 27 - SWFDA's 29th Dixie Run at Golden Mountain (Sparta TN)
Southern Four Wheel Drive Association 'premiere' event . Lots of activities planned this year with guided
trails inside the Golden Mountain Park and 'out of park' excursions to some local vistas, Rock Race, and a huge raffle.
Trail rating = any vehicle, depending on which classification of trail rides you choose.
TNT will be leading Easy/Moderate rides on Friday afternoon
If you plan on going, then registar at the SFWDA website (http://www.sfwda.org/dixierun).
We will base camp at the Days Inn in Crossville TN (exit 287 off of I-40) which is only 12 miles from the event.

· October 8 - 11 Black Mountain Park in Harlan KY
We will be leaving the Walmart in Travelers Rest Thursday at 8:30a.m.
Then off to Harlan KY via I-40 and Hwy 25 through Harrogate TN and across Hwy 119
Off of Hwy 119 we will stop and explore the Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park.
Base camp will be the Mtn Aire Hotel in Harlan (1-800-988-4660).
Make your reservations soon and prepare for two days of wheeling.
Trail Rating = A minimum of '3 wheel drive' is required. If your open front and rear,
this is not the ride for you. Many of trails will be challenging
