July's Meeting
SFWDA UPDATE
Update on a 'victory' in the Coalmont area (northeast of Chattanooga )
SFWDA has pleged $100,000 of labor as part of an 80/20 split for state's RTP
(Recreation Trail Program) grant. It has been a long time coming (6 years), but
perseverence has payed off. Recently the grant was finalized and work should begin
after a few items get 'ironed out'.
50/50 CHARITY RAFFLE
Cynthia won the 50/50 raffle where half the money goes to our charity
UPCOMING EVENTS
· July 15 - Beasley Knob ride has been CANCELLED
· July 22 - Road Trip through the north Georgia mountians.
· September 21 - 24 - SFWDA's 31st Dixie Run at Golden Mountain Park in Sparta TN
· October 21-22 - 'Overnighter' trip centered around the Greeneville TN area
· November 2 - 5 - Annual trip to Black Mountain (Harlan KY). This will be a 'members only' event

NEXT RIDE
July 22 - Road trip through the North Georgia mountians
An lazy start from the Lowes in Seneca at 10:00a.m. then out Hwy 28
to explore a few forest service roads and work our way toward Dillard GA.
The ride, starting from Seneca, should not be more than 100 miles.

· The next meeting will be August 6th 4:00 p.m. at Fatz Cafe in Easley
